The League of Women Voters Grand Traverse Area Announces A Mayoral and City Commissioner Candidate Forum

Candidates for Mayor and City Commissioner for the City of Traverse City will be participating in a League of Women Voters Grand Traverse Area public forum on Wednesday, October 4 from 7:00 to 8:30 pm in the McGuire Community Room at the Traverse Area District Library, 610 Woodmere. This forum will be taped for later programming on UpNorthTV.

The League of Women Voters Grand Traverse Area invites all citizens to attend the forum to hear and meet the candidates in person.

The League of Women Voters is a national, non-partisan organization. The League does not endorse or oppose candidates or parties, but does work to obtain and distribute to the public information on candidates and their views. The League encourage the informed and active participation of all citizens in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
