Join or Renew Using Paypal

Use this link to join or renew your membership in LWVGTA using PayPal.  No Paypal account is needed and the payments can be made by credit card or through Paypal. The button uses the term "donate" but membership dues aren't tax deductible.

How are membership dues used?
The annual dues are $75 for an individual League member, $100 for a household with two League members and $5 for students.  The dues are for local LWVGTA membership and are used for local events such as candidate forums and educational programs; for state LWV-MI membership, used to support statewide activities such as supporting Proposal 2 to expand access to voting in Michigan; and for national LWV-US membership, used to support VOTE411 and other nationwide projects.  The $75 paid for an individual membership is divided into $20 for our local League, $23 for LWV-MI, and $32 for LWV-US.

How much time does it take?

It's up to you! Many members choose to support the League only with their annual dues. Your membership alone gives us the political influence needed to build a voice for citizens and a force for change. We cover a broad spectrum of issues and concerns; you may choose to become involved in one or more of them by actively participating in a group study, or listening to a panel of experts at a meeting or just reading about them in one of our publications.

What do I get?
You automatically become a member of LWV Michigan and LWV of the United States. You will receive their publications along with the newsletter from the League of Women Voters of the Grand Traverse Area. You will have the knowledge that you are adding your voice to a powerful force of members from all 50 states, Washington DC, the Virgin Islands, and Hong Kong.
