The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization encouraging the informed and active participation of citizens in government. It influences public policy through education and advocacy.

 

Our programs and activities are supported by your dues and donations. All donations are greatly appreciated.  They are essential to our ongoing work. Donations can be made to two funds:

 

• Donations can go to support the League’s action priorities and general operations.  These donations are not tax deductible.
• These action donations allowed us to support Proposal 2 in 2022 which expanded voting access; advocate for local schools and libraries; maintain our website and general operations.

 

• Donations can be made to the League’s Education Fund which is a 501(c)(3) organization.  These donations are tax deductible.
• These education donations allowed us to print Voter Guides and pamphlets with contact information for local officials; have public programs about the Supreme Court, Women’s History, the framework of local government, etc.

 

Donations can be made online through this PayPal link..  No Paypal account is needed and the payments can be made by credit card or through Paypal.  You will be asked to indicate if you are donating to the action priorities (not tax deductible) or the education fund (tax deductible).

 

Donations can also be made by check.

• If you wish to support the League’s educational efforts, please make your check to LWVGTA Education Fund, this will be tax-deductible.
