The LWVGTA in collaboration with Traverse Area District Libraries (TADL) and Traverse Area Community Media (TACM) will present a program "Media Literacy 101: How to tell if the information we receive can be trusted" on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM.

Our speakers are: Rebecca Pierce from the Traverse City Record-Eagle; Scott Harmsen, GVSU adjunct professor; Tak Ready, West Senior High School civics and government educator; and Ed Ronco, Interlochen Public Radio News Director

The program will be held in the McGuire Room at the Traverse City Public Library. It will also be broadcast on Spectrum channel 189 and livestreamed on Traverse Area Community Media website, www.TACM.tv/CommunityTvNow and on the LWVGTA Facebook page.
